Silence in my Chest

What is this feeling...
This silence in my chest
Such a cold emptiness
What have I become
When my heart no longer hurts,
loves, or bleeds
What am I? - without my steady beat
When everything is silent
And a numbness falls in place
I am really a human
without blood running through my veins?

It hurt so much to care
So I stopped the pain inside
My heart no longer screams
But I paid a very high price

Outside I seem fine
An average human being
But inside I've died
And this is only the beginning...

Sound of Silence.

This is a lovely song by Simon And Garfunkel from the album Sound of Silence. Thought would share it.

Hello darkness, my old friend,
Ive come to talk with you again,
Because a vision softly creeping,
Left its seeds while I was sleeping,
And the vision that was planted in my brain
Still remains
Within the sound of silence.

In restless dreams I walked alone
Narrow streets of cobblestone,
neath the halo of a street lamp,
I turned my collar to the cold and damp
When my eyes were stabbed by the flash of
A neon light
That split the night
And touched the sound of silence.

And in the naked light I saw
Ten thousand people, maybe more.
People talking without speaking,
People hearing without listening,
People writing songs that voices never share
And no one deared
Disturb the sound of silence.

Fools said i,you do not know
Silence like a cancer grows.
Hear my words that I might teach you,
Take my arms that I might reach you.
But my words like silent raindrops fell,
And echoed
In the wells of silence

And the people bowed and prayed
To the neon God they made.
And the sign flashed out its warning,
In the words that it was forming.
And the signs said, the words of the prophets
Are written on the subway walls
And tenement halls.
And whisperd in the sounds of silence.

The Child of God!

He was born as a child, to the all mighty lord.
because the lord loved him , he was the child of god.

He took his first step on this dusty patch of land
And was too young to tell diamond from the sand.

He was lord's gift for men, women and you
God's own blessing as he was one of few.

But like the tainted soul, you sleep with open eye.
touch, see and feel , reality you defy.

Sticks you gave him for supper, tears for his drink
Until the child grew cold , with himself he broke his link.

Now,He dresses in clothes of vanity and uses curses for his tongue
He measures emotions in pennies and breathes fire from his lung.

Oh , he does sound familiar , now you see him everyday..
Could you recognize the child of God if you met him on your way?

What if he looked right in your eyes , Would you even have a clue ?
No, don't look around, that child of God is You.

My Pen and I

My pen and I
When i feel lonely when i feel no earth or sky
In papers we live hiding like shadows
Fighting the tears in corners or lines.

In some way we keep on;
In some way will turn it on,
To relive the heart and take off the stone.
We will stay in war, between the lines,
Till I raise the pain and write the tears again,
My pen and I.

Goodbye Grandma - You taught us how to live!

In the loving memory of my grandma who touched the lotus feet of the lord on 4.4.09. We loved you a load for you're always been a inspiration when amongst us and even while you're gone. I miss you. Take care.

Goodbye my nonna (Grandma), goodbye my friend.
As a child I used to fascinate
the fire in your eyes, of your love.
The lesson you taught
our tight knit tribe
was that no matter what
stick by your family's sides.

I whisper to you in the dark
of how I wish we stayed closer.
now your gone.
for I can't see you no more.
but I know you are there checking on us.

My grandmother, my spark,
you touched all the lives near you.
never a moment wasted.
always teaching and growing with your family.

i promise to you as one of your own
that no matter what
the love of our family
and the closeness we all share
shall stay strong in your memory..

for you are an angel now.
keeping a good eye on all of us.

NASA readies search for other Earths with Kepler launch

Washington: Are we alone in the universe? Are there other planets like Earth? Scientists will attempt to answer those questions with a telescope being launched into orbit Friday.

The Kepler spacecraft is to launch at 10:49 p.m. (0349 GMT Saturday) aboard a Delta II rocket from Cape Canaveral, Florida.

Scientists are quick to point out that the programme could have major historic implications, providing knowledge of just how common - or rare - Earth is.

It "could tell us that we have lots of neighbours or that we are perhaps the only one," said researcher Ed Weiler.

The $590-million telescope programme will spend at least the next three and a half years pointed at a large swath of the Milky Way Galaxy containing some 4.5 million stars.

The most advanced cameras ever used in space will focus on some 100,000 to 150,000 stars deemed most likely to have planets orbiting them, scientists said at a pre-launch press briefing. Data from the cameras will be used to find planets by looking for blips in the amount of light being emitted as a planet crosses in front of the star.

An Earth-sized planet will be particularly hard to spot because of its size and the fact that it will cross in front of its sun only once a year, scientists said.

Since 1995, more than 340 planets have been found outside our solar system, but these so-called exoplanets have been large, gaseous planets, like Jupiter, which tend to be closer to their stars and easier to spot because of their size. Planets like Earth, which could be capable of housing life, can exist only in a small "habitable zone" within a certain distance from their sun.

The known exoplanets are "nothing at all like our solar system, which we know so well and we have yet to discover a true analog to Earth," said Padi Boyd, a scientist for the programme who called Kepler "essentially a planet sifter for Earths".

Still, Kepler, named after German scientist Johannes Kepler, will scan just a small portion of the sky - about as much as would be covered by the hand of a human standing on Earth with an arm outstretched.

And if it finds an Earth-sized planet, scientists will still have a lot of work to do to determine whether conditions there would be hospitable to life because many other conditions, such as the existence of water and temperature, would also have to be right.

The mission will provide "an assessment of the real estate market of other rocky planets, but it won't actually tell us how nice the homes are," said scientist Gibor Basri, noting that will have to wait for other missions.

The Fallen Warrior

I don't belong here,not in this crowd.
I will not bow down to the one who wears the crown
for he is not my king
and I am not his slave

for I may walk the streets
and the glaces of strangers haunt me
there just burdens placed on my shoulders

for these gates of hell
cannot capture me lively
I am not bait
and this will not stall me

I do not belong here
I shall not stay
I am not great
nor am I worthless

I atleast think i have a purpose
those swords and armors
do not scare me
for I am fearless of your death threat
Do not try to deprive me of my freedom
for I will fight on my behalf
my knowledge and streng
this more powerful then your demands

I do not belong here
the day will come
it'll be my time to leave
until then I will be me.
